Princess Anne is four today - and this afternoon young guests joined the Princess and her brother, Prince Charles, at a birthday tea-party at Balmoral Castle. A special iced sponge-cake has been made by Mr. Ronald Aubrey, the Royal chef. The Royal Children today accompanied the Queen to a service in Craithie Church near Balmoral castle. It was the first time that Princess Anne had attended a service in the church. A crowd of over 3000 watched the arrival of the Royal Party who motored from the castle. August 15, 1954.
