Portugal, Santar?m. Calabash Tower (Torre das Caba?as). 15th century. Its name comes from the existence at the top of the tower of an iron structure which supported eight calabashes (since replaced by ceramic pots) serving to amplify the sound of the bell. It houses a Time Museum (N?cleo Museol?gico do Tempo).
