A New Funicular, Measuring A Length of 6 Km -- The highest funicular of the world was lately inaugurated in the Crown Prince of Italy, Umberto's presence. This funicular, leading from Breuil, at the foot of the Matterhorn, to the Mount Rose plateau near the Theodulpass at the frontier between Italy and Switzerland, floats in a height of 2500m. - A wonderful part of the glacier-world and of the High Alps is made accessible by this ingenious funicular.
