And Half A Ship Comes Home -- Half a ship - the aft portion of the Panamanian oil tanker JANKO (9,720 tons) - is towed into Falmouth Harbour by harbour tugs after being brought to Britain by the deep sea tug Bustler. On her way from Abadan to Gothenburg, the oil tanker ran into gales in the Bay of Biscay off Cape Finisterre (Spain). She broke her back. March 8, 1951. (Photo by Reuterphoto).
