Progress In The Salvage Of The Hindenburg -- The attempt to raise the sunken German battleship Hindenburg, is being continued at Scapa flow. A Kirkwall correspondent states that on Saturday morning (September 4), after pumping had been resumed for some hours, the vessel suddenly rose and then two 5inch steel hawsers attached from the mast snapped like violin strings and the ship at once heeled right over on to her port bilge.
