The legs are of figured acacia, sides and ends of Californian red pine grown in a Beechworth plantation, and side arms and handles of messmate. The barrow is fitted with a pneumatic tyre. This is the route to he covered by Mr T. Parkinson, the barrow pusher in his eight-day trip from Beechworth to Mt. Buffalo. He hopes to travel seven miles the first day,
