At a London hotel to-day (Tuesday) Lord Pakenham, Minister of Civil Aviation entertained three triple-mileage-millionaire civil air pilots to lunch. They were Captain O.P. Jones of B.O.A.C. - he has flown over 3,000,000 miles - 54-year-old Mr. R.H. McIntosh of Airwork Ltd. (over 3,500,000 miles) and Captain E.S.J. Alcock of B.O.A.C. (nearly 4,000,000 miles), the brother of the late Sir John Alcock who was the first man to fly the Atlantic with the late Sir Arthur Whiten-Brown. July 5, 1949.
