"Queen Mary" Taking Shape -- An aerial, view of the mammoth "Queen Mary" at Clydebank yesterday, July 31. This view allows the boom which has been erected round Her stern, to protect the screws of the liner. A funnel has just been erected on the giant liner "Queen Mary" which is now being fitted out at Clydebank. When completed the "Queen Mary" will be one of the largest liners afloat, and will be a worthy British representative on the seas, as it is built on equally sumptuous lines to that of the French marvel "Normandie". The question now arises, will she beat the Normandie's time for an Atlantic crossing. August 20, 1935.
