British Warships Leave For Mediterranean: The 8th Division, the Blanche, Brilliant, Brazen and The Beaglemled by H.M.S. Cairo (Flagship Commodore D.) leaving Sheerness to-night. H.M.S. Cairo, in the 8th Division of Destroyers, left Sheerness Essex, this evening fro Gibraltar to join the patrol. On arrival, they will, with ships of the 4th and 7th Division, bring the total of British Warships in the Mediterranean up to 40. They will enforce the piracy pact. September 16, 1937.
