A Thrill At "Chatham Navy Days" - One of the many thrills during a demonstration by Naval fire-fighters. Wearing an asbestos suit a member of the squad rescues a "pilot" from his burning aircraft. Members of the public will be able to see the many and varied aspects of life in the Royal Navy at the "Chatham Navy Days" which is being held at the Chatham (Kent) Naval Establishment. Exhibitions, Displays and Demonstrations will be held during the three days of "Chatham Navy Days". April 19, 1954.
