He is among the 13 players from whom will be chosen the England side to meet west Indies in the third test match beginning at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Thursday (July 20). Insole is looked upon as an unorthodox and enterprising batman and a brilliant fieldsman close to the wicket. He is also an experienced captain.
