Almost half a mile of red carpet was laid from the Chateau Beloeil to the town hall for the wedding of the Archduke Charles-Louis, of Hapsburg, to Princess Yolande de Ligne. The Archduke is the fourth son of the late Emperor Charles, last ruler of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the bride the daughter of Prince de Ligne, Belgium's Ambassador to India. The bridegroom is 31-year-of-age; the bride 26.
