Only Women's Transport Corps In Camp - Washing up! Each camper must wash up her own "crocks" after meals at the community sink. Members of the only women's transport corps which has continued training and recruiting without ceasing since the war are now in camp at Mychett, near Aldershot, Hampshire. They belong to the Women's Transport Service which is recognized by the Army Council as a voluntary transport organization. In times of national emergency the corps is at the service of the Government. In peace time members give valuable help to hospitals through a regular transport scheme for patients who would otherwise be unable to attend for treatment. July 21, 1938. (Photo by Topical Press).
