At Ellerslie Racecourse, Auckland, on Boxing Day, the Queen did not appear to he disturbed by crowds of racegoers who pressed against her as she moved towards the birdcage to make the presentation of a trophy to the owner of Coaltown (winner of the Royal Auckland Cup), Mr. H. M. Glazebrook, sheepfarmer and grazier of Hawke's Bay, NZ. December 31, 1953.
