"Sledge Riding In Madeira" -- A party just starting on the long sledge ride to the base of the mountain. Visitors to Madeira, always pay a visit to the mountain Terreira da Lueta, which dominated Funchal, the chief town and port of Madeira. After the visit they descend the mountainside, which is 3000ft high, by means of huge basket work sledges, controlled by two natives, who grease the runners en route.
