Ginty Lush, one of NSW cricket's most talented and colourful all rounders, died Sydney yesterday at the age of 72. Lush, who died in Sydney Hospital after a stroke, will be remembered for his faultless character and outstanding skills on the cricket field. A former NSW captain, he was a capable pace bowler, a stylish and aggressive batsman and a reliable fielder. He was rated in his time as the best cricketer never to have plaeyed for Australia.
