British Troops Evacuate Ismailia. British troops recently cample ted their evacuation from the parts of Ismailia which have been under military occupation. Many more Egyptian families have been allowed to return to their homes in the previously occupied zones. Now that the British troops have been evacuated the Egyptian authorities are responsible for the security of the whole of Ismailia, but British Troops will still be stationed in some parts, of the town. Barbed wire barriers erected during the rioting in the town were taken down by the troops. This picture shows the dismantling of a barbed wire barrier before the evacuation of British troops.
