The winner will receive the title of "Miss Parkes" and a trip round Australia by air, and will then be eligible for the State finals of the NSW section. Committee supporting the girls comprises representatives from all district organizations, including the swimming club, district hos-pital, musical and dramatic society, ambulance, parents and citizen's association, the rifle club, farmer and settlers association. Chamber of Commerce, and the 2PK Sunshine Club. Miss Parkes will be chosen'' during a week of carnival to be ' held at Parkes in October.
