Bob passes a pot of paint up to "Dobbie" as they prepare to start painting, the roof of the Ponsonby Rugby Club's training shed. After a course under the New Zealand Rehabiliation Training Scheme, the pair formed a partnership and are doing quite well. both boys were in Italy and Africa during the war and it was there that they gained selection in the Kiwi side to tour Great Britain.
