Early Musical Instruments -- Mr. Carol Dolmetsch plays the Lute for his interested young listeners during his demonstration and commentary on early musical instruments, at the Horniman Museum, Forest Hill, London. The lute he is seen playing is an early German type of about 1700. A number of schoolchildren with an interest in music and musical instruments, attended a demonstration and descriptive commentary given by Mr. Carol Doolmetsch F. T. C. I. on " Early Musical Instruments and their Music" at the Horniman Museum, Forest Hill, London, during their Arms holidays.
