Music from A Diamond Cross, Experiments by A French Princess - Princess De Broglie Demonstrating her wonderful new musical instrument. Experiments are being made in Paris with a Marvellous new type of musical instrument by the Princess Jacques de Broglie, formerly Mlle, Marie Antoinette Aussenac, the pianist. She has erected at her studio a tubular copper cross, in the centre of which is set a diamond. When the electric current is switched on powerful air waves are attracted to the instrument, and the gentle waving of the hands, either or near or away from the diamond causes sweet swelling music in the tubes. April 10, 1933. (Photo by Associated Press Photo).
