A Press Conference was held at the Minister of Information in London when the Bishop of New Guinea, the Rev. Philip Strong (who is Senior ***** to the Australian Army) arrived from New Guinea, together with the Rev. J. D. Bodger, where they have been during the whole of the fighting against the Japanese. ***** He will celebrate Holy Communion at Christ Church St. Laurence at 9 am tomorrow, and will preach at the 10.30 am service.
