Their Majesties the King and Queen attended the world premiere of Sir Laurence Olivier's film version of "Hamlet", this evening (Thursday) at the Odeon, Leicester Square, London. The film, which has cost Two Cities ?500,000 to make, was produced and directed by Sir Laurence, who plays the title role. It Occupied Denham studio six months during making. May 06, 1948.
