Dance Of the Furies - This impressive scene shows the dance of the furies in Hadies, with Ballerina July Drapal as head fury. It is from the Vienna state Opera Ballet's new production of IGOR strawinsky's Ballet "orpheus" wich the composer wrote after the war at the instigation of George Balanchine, the famous choreographer. The ballet, which was first produced in 1948 in New York, follows the well-known story of Orpheus and Eurydike, and has many impressive scenes and exciting music. May 01, 1954.
