The Queen Attends National Review of Fire Women at London Region Headquarters in Lambeth - The Queen accompanied by Princess Elizabeth and Mr. Herbert Morrison, Secretary of State Speaking to one of the firewomen officers. The Queen accompanied by Princess Elizabeth to-day inspected Women C.D. workers, police, NFS, wardens, ambulance and first-aid workers, fire guards and members of the W.V.S. at County hall to-day. She told them "No Victory but for your help" and added "That is a thought which gives me pride as a woman, it also given me something more valuable then pride, that is hope." December 6, 1944.
