Opening Ball Opens Playing Field -- The Duke of Edinburgh to-day opened a new recreation ground at Combe, Oxon, by bowling the first tow opening balls at a cricket match played between a representative county eleven and the Combe Village team. The National playing Fields Association, of which the Duke is president, has contributed largely to the cost of the ground.
