In training for Australia's first game fishing contest for schools, Hadyn Daly, 13, Kogarah High (above), plays a fish off Sydney Heads. Two-boy teams from 27 metropolitan schools and one team from Gosford will take part in the contest, which will be decided off the Heads next Saturday. Trophies worth more than ?350 will be awarded, and 28 big game launches will take the boys through the Heads at 8 am. There is one section for the biggest shark, one for marlin and a third for light game. Sydney Game Fish?ing Association, the Shark Anglers' Club and the Rod Fishers Club are co-operating.
