Guardian Angel of The Spot -- As Lt (jz) Droege succeeds in clearing his sinking plane, Chief Wight has dropped a line to him from the pick-up hoist of the "Guardian Angel" helicopter. The speed with which the rescue is made is evidenced by the fact the Boxer has barely cleared her own length from the scene of the crash before the rescue helicopter is retrieving the pilot.
