The Oriana Takes Shape -- The 40,000-ton liner Oriana, built by Vickers-Armstrong's for the orient Line at Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, is now fitting out for completion in the Autumn. She was launched by Princess Alexandra last November and will sail from Southampton on her maiden voyage to Australia on December 3rd.
