Britain's Motor Industry Celebrates Its Jubilee -- 1910 B Type Bus, active service 1914-18 war. On July 27th the British motor industry held a cavalcade and exhibition in Regents Park, London, to mark the fifty years since the repeal, in 1896, of the Act of Parliament ordering that motor vehicles should be proceeded by an attendant. Veteran, middle-aged and modern cars and other transport vehicles in the cavalcade showed the progress the British industry has made in the last fifty years, and of the cars on view, many were 1946 models shown to the public for the first time.
