Visitors. Mrs. Myfanwy Williams stopped Perth people in their tracks this week when she appeared in the city wearing a red cloak and a black top hat Mrs. Williams wore her Welsh national costume on her first visit to an Australian city. With her husband (photographed together above) she had arrived in the liner Arcadia from England. She wore the costume so that other people of Welsh blood would recognise her as Welsh and talk to her. The idea was a success. March 23, 1954.
