Launching The General Election -- Today, Friday, the Clerk of the Chamber at the Houses of Parliament sent out the Proclamation by the Queen "Dissolving the Present Parliament and Declaring the Calling of Another." Two thousand copies of the original with the Queen's Great Seal attached, were sent by ordinary post for display on public buildings throughout the country.
