Clarence House - Princess Elizabeth's London Home -- Princess Elizabeth's writing desk in her Sitting Room at Clarence House, the London residence of the Princess and the Duke of Edinburgh. The desk is of the Chippendale period. The photographs are of the Queen, Queen Mary, Princess Margaret and several of the Duke of Edinburgh, including one taken during the war when he wore a beard. Beyond are photographs taken at the christening of Prince Charles, and a painting of the ballet Le Iac des Cygnes, by Oliver Messel. October 28, 1949.
