Roughs Run Riot In London Streets -- One of the demonstrators being arrested in Whitehall. Disturbances in connection with the unemployed workers declaration to present their grievances at the Houses of Parliament, took place on the night of November 1st. Gangs of roughs rather than the genuine hung marchers caused the disturbances. A dense throng gathered in parliament square and Whitehall. Baton charges were made and mounted police had to clear the streets. January 1, 1932. (Photo by Sport & General Press Agency Limited).
