Ministry Of National Insurance Central Office: Records Branch - Shuttle Cards Homeward Bound -- Outgoing shuttle cards and other documents are sent to the Office Distribution Section for transmission to the National Insurance Office of origin. To facilitate speed in the internal distribution of shuttle cards are correspondence, a Pneumatic Tube system was installed by Lamson Engineering Co. Ltd. The whole system emanates from two Central Desks situated at the sorting and mail sections.
