Mr. John Pudney, 46-year-old author was granted a decree nisi in the Divorce Court on Tuesday on the ground of misconduct by his wife, Crystal (pictured here). Mr. Lionel Hale, broadcaster and playwright was cited as co-respondent and ordered to pay costs. The Pudneys were married in 1934 and have three children, Gustody of the youngest, a 13-year-old girl was granted to Mr. Pudney, but Mrs. Pudney is to have care and control until further order.
