Helicopter Relieves Wolf Rock - A dramatic picture as the Helicopters hovers over the Wolf Rock lighthouse while the heavy seas surge around the base of the light-house as the food and mail are lowered to the three men on the lighthouse. Wolf Rock lighthouse, off Land's End, cut off by raging Atlantic seas for the past 26 days, was relieved yesterday - by helicopter. Guided by a circling naval aircraft, the blue and silver Trinity House helicopter, piloted by Captain Alan Bristow, approached the 135-ft, high tower and lowered three bags of food and mail to the occupants on the lamp balcony.
