The Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition -- The Canadian sealer "Theron" being fitted out of carry the Expedition, in the Millwall Dooke, London. Preparations for the start of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition are now almost complete. The Expedition will be led by Dr. Vivian E. Fuchs; one section crossing the Antarctic from Vahsel Bay in the Weddell Sea to Mcmurdo Sound in the Ross Sea.
