Australian Minister Opens Her First Show -- London Australian sculptress Wendy Solling with Mr. Harrison, Resident Australian Minister in London looks at "Breaking In" - one of her wire 'sculptures' on display at her first London exhibition being held at the Galerie Apolliniare, Charing Cross Road. Many of Miss Soiling's works are made of wire. She twists and fastns fencing wire into shape. Claims rusting does not-detract. Three times postponed owing to fuel restrictions on lighting, the exhibition was opened by Mr. Harrison. Miss Solling, daughter of a doctor, lives in a Chelsea basement studio. All the works on show she created in England. February 15, 1951.
