An Unusual Formation -- Formation flying of aircraft of widely different performances such as this is a difficult feat. These aircraft all belong to the central Flying School at Upavon. All the aeroplanes in this photograph are different. Reading from the camera they are the Avro "Anson" (coastal reconnaissance aircraft), "Oxford", twin-engined trainer, "Hart", bomber and training aircraft, Avro "Tutor" and "Fury," single-seater fighter.
