U.S. "Flying Box Cars" Aid Air Lift. Rear view of the first of the American Air Force's C-32 "Flying Box Cars" carrying nearly 8-tons of heavy goods and machinery, arriving at Templehof airfield. The aircraft, coming in from Wiesbaden to aid the air lift to Berlin is twin-engined, box-shaped, has detachable rear door, can lower ramps for car transport. Has twin tall booms.
