6096353 A Pair of Imperial Famille Rose Vases (ceramic) by Chinese School, Qing Dynasty - Jiaqing Period (1795??820); height: 68 cm; Private Collection; (add.info.: With iron-red six-character seal marks of the Jiaqing period. Each vase is of baluster shape and has an elegantly tapering neck that is applied with stylised archaistic dragon handles. The yellow-ground necks are decorated to each side with a large bat and chime above a stylised lotus bloom flanked by serpentine chilong. The ovoid body is finely enamelled with a continuous landscape scene depicting a procession of foreigners bearing tributes, all between bands of ruyi-heads above and below.); Photo by Christie\'s Images.
