Large skylight on roof apex. Several of these houses on the Quayside, whilst being architecturally one house, were two. In the case of the Ship Inn, it was all one house, front on the Quay & rear in the Fairy Ground. Evident in the 1868 Survey. In the other \'back to back\' houses, there is some sort of diminutive yard in evidence. Gable & low annexe of Ellan Vannin Arms on R. The bit on R. with a high chimney was an anexe to the King Orry Inn & connected therewith on the first floor by a glazed gallery (noted 3.1.33)."); by Manx National Heritage .
