PCT4286166 Old Paris: The Hotel Saint-Pol, late 19th/beg 20th (engraving); (add.info.: Old Paris: Hotel des Comtes de Saint-Pol - The Hotel Saint-Pol, now gone away, was composed of a set of buildings built in the 14th century by King Charles V to serve as a residence for him and his son Charles VI. This royal residence stretched from Quai des Celestins to Rue Saint-Antoine, and from Rue Saint-Paul to Rue du PetitMusc, southwest of the Arsenal district in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. This royal estate was completely destroyed in the 16th century. Today there is only a wall of St. Paul\'s Church which was part of the estate.
