Said to be the foundation bible of St Leonard\'s College, there are copius annotations round the text and the names of several students on the inside back board. The signature of Robert Wilkie, principal of St Leonards College 1589-1611, and the date 1604 are just visible on the front paste down. Bound in calf over oak boards, there is a worn panel stamp of the Crucifixion on the upper board. A chain remains attached to the lower edge of the front board.
