A miner is free-wheeling down the ramp on the right on an empty wagon after its contents have been emptied into the chute of the ore-crushing machinery. This was used to separate the lead from the surrounding stone (ore). The picture shows the heavy red weights which were needed to balance the heavy crushing weights.
