Valerio Belli (c.1468-1546), Italian engraver and medallist (maker of medallions), also known as Valerio Vicentino. He worked as a specialist in intaglios, carving his designs from rock crystal and then casting them in wax to produce metal medallions and similar objects. A famous work by him is a casket in Florence's Pitti Palace, with scenes from the Passion of Jesus. Artwork published in 1895.
