19th century illustration of Daniel Lambert (1770-1809), a gaol keeper, sports breeder and once the heaviest man in England. Lambert worked as a living exhibition in London from his flat, where visitors would come and see him. At the time of his death aged 40, he weighed 335 kilograms. Print published in Elegentia magazine in 1809.
