Andrew Huxley (1917-2012), physiologist and biophysicist. Huxley shared the 1963 Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology with Sir Alan Hodgkin and Sir John Eccles. The share of the Nobel was awarded for Huxley's discoveries concerning nerve cell physiology. Photographed on 17th October 1963.
