Storms on Jupiter, JunoCam image. This image shows the jets and vortices in Jupiter's North North Temperate Belt. Within the belt are two grey-coloured anticyclones. NASA's Juno spacecraft arrived at Jupiter in July 2016. It has been orbiting Jupiter, gathering information about the planet's atmosphere, magnetic field and gravitational field. The image data from its JunoCam are made available for processing by citizen scientists. This image was obtained on 23 May 2018, during perijove 13, and processed by Kevin M. Gill.
